Our second annual student art competition has officially wrapped up for 2026. We were delighted to receive more than double the entries from last year - an impressive 66 incredible pieces!
Students from Year 1 through Year 12 from 18 schools across the NT dazzled us with their creativity and made it a very tough job to judge. After much deliberation, here are the results:
In first place was Aura, Year 10 from Katherine High School.
Second place was awarded to Olena, Year 1 from Jabiru Area School.
Coming third was Nanami, Year 3 from Leanyer Primary School.
A huge congratulations to these three students who will each be receiving a Jacksons Art Supplies voucher: $150 for first, $100 for second and $50 for third place. We extend a big thank you to Jacksons, for generously supporting our 2026 competition and being advocates for student creativity.
Our remaining entrants, whose pieces we also absolutely loved, will each be awarded a certificate and a small art supply to continue their creative ventures!
Another huge thanks to all who entered - and to the parents, teachers and staff who encouraged and assisted their students. We look forward to returning the competition next year!
