Job Description and Duty Statement
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Training Officer you will provide proactive and responsive training, mentoring, support and advice on all governance matters to Northern Territory Government School Councils and Boards.
The role is based in Palmerston City, and requires regular travel to urban, rural, remote and very remote school communities via road, charter and commercial flights during school terms.
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Experience in the delivery of training and/or education programs.
- Flexibility to work after hours and travel overnights.
- Demonstrated cross cultural competence, preferably in a Northern Territory context.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced MS office skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
CONDITIONS:
- Current NT driver’s licence.
- National Police Clearance
- Working with Children Clearance.
