NT COGSO works for parents, children and School Councils in the Northern Territory Government public education system. 

The following diagram illustrates how NT COGSO works and its various relationships, from the NT children and families level, to its regional councils and the NT and Australian governments. This structure is quite powerful, because individuals can get involved at the local school level and their input can filter through the NT COGSO system right up to the federal level.
